Blog #3: 6-Word Memoirs

There were 5 Six-Word Memoirs I liked. They were:

1) Was young and foolish. Still foolish.
I liked this one because it evoked an emotion in me: intrigue because I want to know how the person was foolish.

2) Got caught up in the Linsanity.
I liked this one because to me, this says that the person who wrote this has pride for what may be his basketball team.

3) Postponing mid-life crisis... can't afford car.
This one gives a sense that the writer wants to be younger, but can't because of some practical excuse, in this case, the fact the person can't afford a car.

4) Waking up is the biggest commitment.
This speaks to me. It says that to wake up is to go through another day, whether good or bad. This person has a point, waking up IS the biggest commitment.

5) Write, Submit, Rejection, Submit, Publication, Finally.
This one tells me about the usual cycle of a writer's story getting published. Also, it tells me that if at first you don't succeed, try again.
